Miguel Deliz: Three Decades Contributing to Puerto Rican Beauty

The Puerto Rican has been involved in preparing queens such as Dayanara Torres, Zuleyka Rivera, Brenda Robles, Ana Rosa Brito, Brenda Liz López, Zoribel Fonalledas, Carla Tricoli, Isis Casalduc, Cynthia Olavarría, Madison Anderson, Brenda Azaria, Valeria Vázquez, Nicole Colón, Danna Hernández, Karla Guilfú, Alba Reyes, Uma Blasini, Vivianie Díaz, and Oxana Rivera, among others.


“I take from these 30 years the satisfaction of being a mentor and facilitator of the integral development of women through these platforms that have given them so much visibility and power over all these years,” he emphasized. His development in the world of pageants led him to become the executive director of Miss Universe Spain, a position he has held since 2020. Under his leadership, Spain has placed consecutively in 2022 with Alicia Faubel and 2023 with Athenea Pérez"

Joining Two Other Franchises

Adding to his experience, Deliz joins two other Miss Universe franchises ahead of the 73rd edition of the pageant in Mexico. The Puerto Rican confirmed in an interview with an island media outlet that he will collaborate with the organizations of Switzerland and Italy.


“I will be in charge of training the stage projection of the winner. At that time, the organization intends for me to, for example, give a workshop to the candidates participating a few weeks before their national contest, and eventually, the winner will also receive coaching in stage projection,” Deliz explained about his role. The expert also remains president of Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico (NBPR), a pageant that crowns local representatives for Miss Grand Puerto Rico, Miss Supranational Puerto Rico, Miss International Puerto Rico, and Miss Cosmo Puerto Rico.
