Dominican Lebanese descendant Giannina Azar is a fashion and haute couture designer who has been recognized by great celebrities and personalities.
Giannina Azar has participated in event such as Miami fashion week, Miami Swim week, Dominicana Moda, Miss Universe, Nuestra Belleza Latina, RD Fashion Week and New York Fashion Award. Her stunning designs have graced the catwalks of New York Fashion Weeks, Aruba Fashion Weeks, Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, and the Spring Colors Fashion Show, among others, including the recent Arab Fashion Week in Dubai.

Over the years she was the official designer of the Miss Dominican Republic a National Beauty pageant, and of other personalities from her country. Then her designs began to cross the Caribbean border.
After completing her high school studies, she studied advertising graphic design at APEC University, even though her passion was fashion design. Azar made the decision to follow her heart and graduated in fashion design and illustration from Mercy Jacques Institute of Technology and then moved to Miami to perfect what she learned.
After attempting to open her fashion school, the artist preferred to focus on her career. She opened a store in Santo Domingo, and her daughter helps her design and style her pieces. The designer is known for launching exuberant collections and has participated in over 100 fashion shows.
Azar has her atelier and showroom in Miami, Florida, and is recognized as a celebrity stylist. Her designs were worn by major celebrities, including Thalia, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Maluma, and a long list of other celebrities who dazzled the red carpets in Giannina’s name.
For years, she was also the official fashion designer of the Miss Dominican Republic contest.
Her grandiose fashion designs, with intricate and magnificent details, along with amazing styles coming out like timeless paintings, have placed the Lebanese-Dominican designer as a pillar in the fashion industry around the world.
