A NEW CURATED FASHION SERIES

Carolina, Puerto Rico — Fairmont El San Juan Hotel proudly unveils “The Edit,” an exclusive series of curated fashion activations designed to celebrate creativity, artistry, and refined elegance. This innovative initiative showcases the work of designers, brands, and fashion visionaries, while reimagining the hotel’s iconic spaces and suites as immersive settings that blend hospitality, style, and culture into one elevated experience.
The inaugural event, “Atelier in a Suite,” debuted inside Casa del Mar, a breathtaking two-story oceanfront villa just steps from Isla Verde Beach. This luxurious space features a private open-air terrace, jacuzzi, spacious living area, two bars, and a full kitchen, creating the ideal atmosphere for an intimate and sophisticated encounter. The décor of the suite was designed in collaboration with José Luis Maldonado of Expresión Creativa. Guests enjoyed music, hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails sponsored by Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire, along with exclusive access to acquire unique fashion, art, and jewelry pieces by Puerto Rican designer Herman Nadal.
“With The Edit, we aim to introduce exclusive fashion-driven experiences that reflect the legendary style of Fairmont El San Juan Hotel. We’re thrilled to launch this series with Herman Nadal, whose work honors our cultural heritage through a modern and sophisticated lens,” said Adriana Martínez, Director of Marketing at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel.

Herman Nadal is a Puerto Rican designer known for blending the island’s cultural traditions with contemporary fashion. Inspired by his seamstress grandmothers, he founded his brand at the age of 20. His work reinterprets folkloric symbols such as bomba, crafting a modern and sustainable aesthetic that celebrates identity, diversity, and craftsmanship. In 2025, he celebrates his tenth anniversary, reaffirming his commitment to Puerto Rican fashion. He currently serves as Artist-in-Residence for the Municipality of Bayamón, where he continues expanding his legacy under the motto: “Inspired, designed, and created in Puerto Rico.”
Looking ahead to 2026, The Edit will continue with new special editions featuring renowned designers including Stella Nolasco and Marcos Carrazana, further solidifying Fairmont El San Juan Hotel’s dedication to celebrating Puerto Rican talent, fashion, and the arts.
