A Distinguished Evening at the Dominican Republic Tourism Roadshow

On Wednesday, January 14th, Omayra La Bella ™ had the distinct honor of attending the Dominican Republic Tourism Roadshow, an exclusive industry event hosted at the elegant JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort. As a special invited VIP guest, she had the privilege of representing Luxe Varié Magazine – Florida amongst distinguished leaders, cultural icons, and international ambassadors of tourism and innovation.

The evening was masterfully led by Hon. David Collado, Minister of Tourism for the Dominican Republic, whose presence and leadership set the tone for a night centered on vision, progress, and global connection. His dynamic presentation highlighted the Dominican Republic’s continued rise as a premier destination for luxury travel, investment, and cultural exploration.

Adding to the evening’s significance was the presence of two remarkable figures:

The son of the legendary singer Johnny Ventura, Jandy Ventura, also a musician who has branded himself as "El Legado" (The Legacy) honoring the legacy of one of the Dominican Republic’s most influential cultural icons. Former Miss Universe Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera, whose elegance and international presence elevated the event’s already distinguished atmosphere.

Together, their participation underscored the deep cultural pride and global influence that the Dominican Republic continues to share with the world.
