2025 Golden Brick Awards

The 2025 Golden Brick Awards, hosted by the Downtown Orlando, Florida Partnership (DOP) and presented by AdventHealth, brought together hundreds of city leaders, innovators, and community champions for a morning of celebration inside the stunning Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Luxe Varie Magazine – Florida was honored to attend as invited media, capturing the energy, elegance, and civic pride that defined this year’s event.

A Morning Honoring Visionaries Who Shape Orlando’s Future

Among the distinguished VIP attendees were Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Ryan Young, CEO and Co-founder of Interstruct Design + Build, and Jill Vaughan, President and CEO of the Downtown Orlando Partnership. Their presence underscored the significance of the Golden Brick Awards as a cornerstone event recognizing the people and projects that elevate downtown Orlando.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the 2025 Downtowner of the Year Award to Ryan Young, whose decades-long commitment to architecture, adaptive reuse, and community-centered development has left a lasting imprint on the city. As noted in the official announcement, Young has spent 25 years reinvesting in downtown Orlando, transforming historic structures, supporting local arts, and championing initiatives that strengthen neighborhoods and serve residents for generations.

DOP President and CEO Jill Vaughan praised Young’s leadership, stating that his work “has not only shaped our skyline, but strengthened the neighborhoods and relationships that define downtown Orlando.”
